Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage design developed in 2002 by the US company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior project. The aim was to design a versatile camouflage pattern effective across diverse terrains and dynamic environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern features seven colors, creating seamless transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. This allows it to adapt to its surroundings, shifting to green hues in wooded areas or to browns and beiges in desert settings. In Central and Eastern European settings, it excels during autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained global recognition and is utilized by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, it was officially adopted by the US Army for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the prior Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is also available to civilian users and is a favored option among military or airsoft enthusiasts.
