I really liked the Lowa Renegade EVO GTX LOW shoes from the very first walks. They fit securely on the foot, the heel doesn’t slip, and the foot is well supported without any feeling that the shoes are too tight. They are comfortable not only for the forest or light trekking, but also for the city when you have to walk a lot throughout the day. The sole grips well on dirt, wet grass, gravel, and regular asphalt, so you feel much more confident on different surfaces. I especially liked that the GTX membrane provides decent protection from moisture, while the shoes still don’t look like heavy hiking boots. The Navy/Stone color looks very good: understated, not boring, and goes well with jeans or trekking trousers. After several outings, there was no rubbing or urge to take them off as soon as possible, which is a big plus for me. For a demanding hike with a large backpack, I would still choose high-cut boots, but for everyday wear, travel, and easy routes, this is a very comfortable option.

Blue trekking shoes with a breathable Gore-Tex membrane, designed for people with medium-width feet. They feature a waterproof and windproof construction and an upper made of abrasion-resistant nubuck leather, equipped with inserts made of durable synthetic fabric.
Leather upper, overmolded sole
The stiffened upper is made of durable nubuck. The toes and heels are protected by an overmolded rubber sole. The interior of the front part of the shoe is made of a single piece of material, which increases comfort and ensures a better fit for the user's foot.
GORE-TEX waterproof membrane
The footwear is equipped with a breathable and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane to ensure adequate air circulation and high thermal comfort. The membrane also protects against wind, allowing comfortable use regardless of the conditions.
VIBRAM renvale outsole, Lowa Monowrap foot support system
Stable movement in the field is ensured by the non-slip, cushioned Vibram Renvale rubber sole with a profiled tread for very good traction on various surfaces. The Renegade EVO GTX model also features a midsole supplemented with DynaPU material, which, together with the three-dimensional Lowa Monowrap stiffening frame, provides maximum support for the foot, perfectly stabilizing it and protecting it from impacts. This solution prevents injuries by protecting against direct impacts from curbs, protruding reinforcements, larger stones, or roots.

Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.
Monowrap is a three-dimensional shoe sole construction technology developed by Lowa. The combination of an injection-molded polyurethane rubber frame along with an outsole and cushioning foam provides better stability and protection for the foot. The sole form absorbs shock and supports the natural movement of the foot when walking.
Double Injection DuraPU is the technology that defines the construction method of the midsole, which uses direct injection of polyurethane in the form of resilient foam to significantly improve the robustness of the profile. DuraPU's cushioning zones enhance the shoe's durability and performance, providing stability and absorbing shock from walking.

The shoes fit my feet perfectly from the very first wear, with no need for a long break-in period, which is unusual for me. They are comfortable, sturdy, and provide excellent grip on various surfaces (I haven't tested them on ice). The flat laces and double eyelet on the tongue help keep it well secured.

Today I received the sneakers in brown color. Everything is as in the photo. I chose the size according to the chart, the shoes fit perfectly. I would say that these sneakers are not for narrow feet.

The shoes are sturdy, but I had to return them because they turned out to be too narrow in the toe area. I have wide feet and most shoes of this type are too tight for me. The weight of both shoes (size 45) is 1030g, which is a great result for leather shoes.

Lowa brand shoes are as excellent as always. They are the best shoes of this kind I’ve ever worn. I wouldn’t want any others. They are lightweight, very comfortable, waterproof, and protect against the wind. I always choose the version that goes above the ankle. Only Lowa.

The shoes are okay, but the insoles slide toward the heel. After two days, I replaced them with others. For this price range, it's a minor disappointment. Other than that, the shoes are comfortable and perform well.

The shoes are extremely comfortable, just like my previous Zephyrs. I was looking for footwear that breathes better (the nubuck leather in this model is quite thick), but I still don't intend to return the Renegades. The size 46 is actually closer to 45. They look very stylish on the foot, and I was worried that the wide laces all the way to the tip would look unappealing, but it's quite the opposite. I'm curious how they'll clean, because I plan to use them intensively :)
