Levenhuk Kelvin Snap Binoculars 10x50

Binoculars with 10x magnification and 50 mm objective lenses, designed for field observation and nature watching. The optical system is based on BK-7 glass, roof prisms, and a full Fully Multi-Coated (FMC) multi-layer coating. The nitrogen-filled body, protected to the IP67 standard, performs well in changing weather conditions, and the included smartphone adapter allows you to take photos of the observed image.

The optical system consists of 7 elements arranged in 5 groups. The eyepieces use 4 elements in 3 groups, while the objective lenses use 3 elements in 2 groups. The design uses BK-7 optical glass and a full Fully Multi-Coated multi-layer coating applied to the optical system and prisms.

The field of view is 5.6 degrees, which translates to 98 m at a distance of 1000 m. The minimum focusing distance is 2 m, and focus adjustment is central. The eyepiece diopter correction works within a range of 3 diopters in both directions.

The exit pupil diameter is 5 mm, which determines the amount of light reaching the eye. A twilight factor of 22.36 and relative brightness of 25 describe parameters important during observation in lower light. The eye relief is 18 mm.

The body is made of steel and plastic. The hermetically sealed construction is filled with nitrogen, which reduces the risk of fogging on internal optical surfaces during temperature changes.

The IP67 protection rating means full protection against dust and protection against short-term immersion in water. The Twist-up eyecups have 3 fixed positions, making adjustment easier also for users who wear glasses. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted within a range of 61–74 mm.

The binoculars are equipped with a standard 1/4" thread, which allows mounting on a tripod when using an adapter.
