I liked the Bond because it’s simple and not flashy. It feels sturdy in the hand, the pliers are good, and the screwdrivers and knife are exactly what you actually need for everyday use. It doesn’t look like a “brick,” so carrying it isn’t that hard, and the Mossy Slate color looks cool and not boring. But it’s not a multitool “for everything.” There aren’t a bunch of extra features like on the Wave, and if you’re used to external blades or quick access, you’ll have to accept that everything here opens more simply and slowly. But as a reliable basic Leatherman that just works and doesn’t give you a headache—it’s really good.

Solid steel construction
The body and tools are created from 420HC stainless steel and undergo heat treatment to achieve ideal hardness and durability. The coating of the body is an additional layer of Cerakote in Burnt Sienna, an advanced ceramic-polymer coating that increases resistance and provides a unique appearance.

420HC
420HC is a high-carbon version of 420 stainless steel, containing 0.4-0.5% carbon and 12-14% chromium. Thanks to its higher carbon content, it achieves higher hardness (55-57 HRC) and better cutting properties than standard 420 steel, making it ideal for the production of outdoor, hunting, and everyday knives. The steel is characterized by very good corrosion resistance, high fracture toughness, and ease of sharpening, which increases its versatility. It is a material with a favorable price-quality ratio, making it a popular choice for mid-range knives. With proper heat treatment, 420HC can achieve properties comparable to AUS6 steel, but at a more affordable price.
Cerakote
Cerakote is an advanced ceramic-polymer coating applied to knife blades to increase their durability and give them a distinctive appearance. It forms a thin, opaque layer that does not alter the geometry or balance of the blade, while ensuring high durability. Its matte, non-reflective finish, available in a variety of colors, makes it a popular choice for tactical and outdoor knives. The coating is resistant to impact, chipping, and abrasion, effectively protecting the steel in demanding conditions. In corrosion tests (Salt Spray ASTM B-117), it retains its properties for thousands of hours, protecting the blade from rust and oxidation. A very pleasant multitool – lightweight, handy, and well-finished, so it doesn't catch on anything in your pocket. Its downside is that the tools are a bit stiff to pull out, although after a few uses the mechanism becomes smoother and will likely improve even more over time. I had similar experiences with the Micra model, which has a similar mounting system, and it improved over time as well. The low weight is a major advantage here, which is clearly noticeable compared to the Arc model – if you don't need a lot of tools and just need pliers, a knife, and a saw, this multitool is perfect for everyday urban use.

I wonder why no one has written a review about this tool yet. It is very lightweight, practical, and functional. It's a slightly simplified version of the Rebar, but it has one major advantage – an affordable price. Here you get a handy and solid tool with a warranty and in interesting color options. I just ordered such a set for myself, even though I already have two other Bondzika tools. I recommend shopping at militaria.pl.

This is my second Bondzic. The first one I have in the classic silver color, bought right after the premiere on militaria.pl. This time I chose the colored version during a great promotion. The tool is lightweight, which was important to me. Although the set of functions is not very extensive, I always add a Victorinox pocket knife with scissors to my EDC, so I have everything I need for urban use at hand. I recommend shopping at militaria.pl.
