Great little accessory. Its discounted price should be the original prize though. Around 7 euros max. I have seen it at up to 20 euros on amazon.de etc. which is totally overprized for a little bit in S2 steel with a rather dull rounded t-carbide tip. This is the reason for my 4 star review. The carbide tip is simply not very pointy and rather rounded on the tip which will require more force to break glass with. This is my second concern: The force needed to actually break both carglass but also other types of tempered glass like thick 3 layer thermal window glass in contemporary apartments, houses etc. Does the bitholder and the screws that holds the leatherman together even tolerate such impact without the tool and bit being destroyed? I will not test this for fun and it is better to have a broken tip and tool but survive a fire and escape through a broken window glass, but it would be best if the tool actually survives too and can handle the task. I have the leatherman ARC and though I would gladly pay the prize of a new tool to survive\/escape a serious threat, it would be even better to save the prize of almost 300 euro for the tool and the bit. I got it on discount at 255 euro for the tool and around 7 euro for the bit. Nevertheless I am glad I bought this carbide bit and I always keep it in my bitholder on the tool, so that it is ready at all times. You do not have time to dig it out and exhange bits in an unexpected emergency situation. On the other hand, it is fine to have to find the correct bit and exhange them temporarily when having to use the screwdriver for something. Just always remember to put the carbide tip bit back in the tools bitdriver when finished with the task at hand, so it is always ready for quick action when\/if needed.

I have bought a few of these, and have one either in the tool or in the bit kit in the pouch. You could even use it with a bit holder if needed. Nut much more to say, that it is very handy do have. I have a dedicated Leatherman Skeletool, that acts as a "rescue" tool.

Part of my EDC kit, I have tested it on a bit of glass but never had to use it for any real purpose. It's very much a item that I would rather have and not need, rather than need and not have it. I have not ever needed to use the flat head side but again useful to have on hand if needed.

It's a perfect addition to the versatility of a multitool, an absolutely useful accessory for every Leatherman. When carrying it daily or driving a car, it's worth having it on hand just in case. I highly recommend it.

The price is reasonable. The bit is solid and well made—it broke glass and tightened a screw, so if you're looking for that type of use, I definitely recommend it. However, it's worth making sure beforehand that your multitool is compatible with it.

Having this is essential, especially if you use a Leatherman and often drive a car. I always keep it in its place, and if needed, I have additional bits in the holder. It's convenient and gives a sense of security.

This is a product that's definitely worth having as a supplement to your Leatherman. It's not cheap, but you buy it, have it, and can use it with peace of mind. An interesting idea – it’s just a shame there’s no Phillips. Recommended.

This seems like something you'd rather never have to use, but it's worth having. It's good you can buy it separately, without having to buy the Skeletool RX.

It's effective, good to keep in a pouch or in a bit kit. I also wish it had a Phillips head, e.g. PH2, on the other side—then I would definitely always keep it in my multitool.
