It might come in handy for securing or compressing luggage, but for pants, I would only recommend it in an emergency – it easily loosens, and to thread it through jeans loops, you have to undo the buckle. For this price, it's excellent. The fastening is comfortable, the adjustment holds well, the belt doesn't loosen and doesn't need readjusting. It's soft and not suitable, for example, for carrying a weapon, but it's perfect for a regular pants belt.
