JB Tacticals A.C.T. Pressure Dressing with Active Compression 15 cm

Dressing designed for the rapid and effective control of massive bleeding, wounds, and injuries requiring effective surface compression. Suitable for civilian rescue operations and battlefield use. The design was developed at the Medical University of Lodz.

It includes an elastic bandage 15 cm wide and 180 cm long (stretched to approx. 360 cm), a modular dressing pad measuring 15 x 13 cm, and a wound packing module.

The segmented pad measuring 15 x 13 cm uses six active compression inserts arranged in a 3 x 2 layout. Upon contact with blood, the inserts expand in volume, helping maintain and spread pressure over a larger surface area. The design helps the dressing conform to large, irregular, and multi-point wounds, as well as difficult anatomical areas.

The dressing is equipped with a wound packing module featuring eight active round compression inserts. The module allows for filling deep and irregular wounds and can also serve as an additional pressure-enhancing element. The starting loop makes application easier to begin, the velcro system supports gradual increases in compression, and the final velcro closure and buckle stabilize the dressing after application.

The dressing is sterile and packed in double waterproof, airtight foil packaging with special notches for easier opening. The back side features application instructions in Polish, Ukrainian, and English, along with pictograms.
