A special nozzle sprays the substance in a cone-shaped cloud, making it easier to hit an aggressive dog or other aggressive animal. Releasing the pressure stops the emission of the substance. Even one second of contact with the gas can incapacitate an aggressive dog or other aggressive animal for approximately 30 minutes. The effect includes reflex closure of the eyelids, irritation of the conjunctiva and, subsequently, the respiratory system.
