Hikvision Hikmicro Falcon FQ50L 2.0 Thermal Imager

Advanced thermal monocular equipped with a 640 × 512 px sensor (12 μm) and high thermal sensitivity NETD < 15 mK. The device features a 50 mm F0.9 lens and an integrated laser rangefinder with a range up to 1000 m. The thermal imager allows detection of objects at a distance of up to 2600 m. The magnification ranges from 2.7x to 21.6x (8x), and the field of view is 15.4 x 12.2 m at 100 meters, which allows for observation of both distant terrain and identification of objects at medium and long distances.

The model was created with professional users in mind, seeking a fast and precise observational tool. The device utilizes the latest Hikmicro technologies, ensuring high image quality in a compact form.

The body is made of magnesium alloy, resistant to mechanical damage and shock. Thanks to its compact design and seals, it meets the waterproof requirements of IP67, providing complete protection against dust and immersion in water up to 1 m for 30 minutes. The thermal imager operates in temperatures from -30 to +55 degrees. The anti-slip surface exterior and ergonomic button layout allow for easy one-handed operation, even with gloves. The rear focus knob allows for precise image adjustment with one hand.

A bright 50 mm diameter lens is used. The high-quality VOx Uncooled Focal Plane Arrays (UFPA) thermal sensor with a resolution of 640 x 512 px and 12 µm pixel size precisely reproduces details. Thermal sensitivity at the level of NETD <15 mK allows detection of minimal temperature differences even in challenging conditions such as dense vegetation, poor visibility, or adverse weather.

The image is presented on a 0.49" OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 px. The display minimizes eye strain during prolonged observations, ensuring user comfort. 50 Hz refresh rate allows for observation of moving objects. The thermal imager is equipped with a laser rangefinder, enabling easy determination of the distance to a target up to 1000 m away.

The advanced optical system along with the sensitive sensor allows for detection of objects at a distance reaching up to 2600 meters. This makes the Falcon FQ50L 2.0 excellently suited for observing vast terrains, open spaces, and monitoring large areas in complete darkness.

The device utilizes modern Hikmicro technologies, which streamline operation, enhance image quality, and facilitate use in various terrain and lighting conditions:

• HSIS - Hikmicro Shutterless Image System eliminates the need for traditional calibration, ensuring smooth observation without image interruptions. This allows the user to fully focus on the target, regardless of prevailing conditions.
• Image Pro 3.0 - dynamic image processing system that automatically adjusts contrast and sharpness, improving detail visibility in changing conditions.
• Zoom Pro - algorithm optimizing digital zoom, maintaining image detail and contrast at every zoom level, enabling effective observation even at maximum magnification.

The Picture in Picture mode allows magnification of the central part of the image in a specially displayed window. The monocular also offers diopter adjustment in the range from -5 to +3. The Hot Track function automatically detects and marks the hottest point in the observed thermal image, making it easier to locate heat sources.

The thermal imager has 6 image display modes that facilitate recognition and identification of observed objects:

• White Hot - higher temperature means brighter tones.
• Black Hot - higher temperature means darker tones.
• Red Hot - image as in "White Hot" with red highlighting for the warmest elements.
• Fusion - from high to low temperature, the image is colored from white, yellow, red, pink to purple.
• Red Monochrome - red monochrome palette, allows for prolonged observation without eye strain.
• Green Monochrome - green monochrome palette, allows for prolonged observation without eye strain.

The model features the ability to store photos or videos on the built-in 64 GB internal memory. The Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz module allows connection to the Hikmicro Sight app on a smartphone, enabling remote viewing, storing, and sharing of images.

The device is powered by a replaceable Li-ion 21700 battery, providing up to 6 hours of continuous operation. The USB-C port allows convenient charging from a car charger, computer, or power bank.

The short startup time, approximately 3 seconds, allows immediate observation. The auto screen-off function saves energy by automatically dimming the screen and extending operation times.
