I would give the highest possible rating if that were an option. Initially, I had doubts about the purchase. The material has two main advantages: it is durable (of course, within reason – you shouldn't try to cut it with scissors!) and it is practically silent (I am very sensitive to such sounds, but here I have no complaints). The valve works well (one for inflation, another for deflation). After rolling it up, the mat does not inflate by itself – this is quite normal because it is very solidly built – you need to inflate it by mouth. As for durability: it is truly impressive – you can walk on it without worry (I'm not the lightest), yet there is no damage at all. Sleeping on it is pure pleasure, very comfortable. However, I advise caution and not to use it directly on the ground – sharp objects like pinecones, stones, or twigs can easily puncture it, so it's best to use even a thin foam pad underneath. The only downside is the lack of an included adhesive for patches and no information about which adhesive can be safely used without damaging the material (I'm not knowledgeable in this area, so it's hard for me to choose the right product myself).

Ultra-light self-inflating mat made from polyester pongee 190T material, which is highly resistant to abrasion and other mechanical damages. 3-centimeter polyurethane foam provides excellent protection against cold and uneven surfaces.
R-Value Insulation Coefficient
The R-Value determines the level of thermal insulation according to the ASTM F3340-18 standard. The higher the value, the more effective the protection against heat loss.
The Kip Mat features an R-Value of 3.2 and is suitable for use in spring and fall, providing comfort in temperatures around 0 to 10 deg. C.
Comfortable foam filling, Small size when folded
During unfolding, the foam naturally fills with air. When rolling up, the air is expelled, significantly reducing the volume and allowing the mat to be easily attached to a backpack.

The mat is comfortable and after folding it takes up little space, which was crucial for me. The material it is made from seems durable. The only downside is that inflating it fully takes quite a long time (perhaps due to being stored folded for a long time); I have the impression it won't inflate completely on its own without help. I’m not evaluating thermal insulation yet, since I haven’t tested it outdoors.

The mat is comfortable, especially for people who prefer a slightly firmer surface. Its main drawback is its size when folded – it's quite large, which is why I decided on the Highlander MatPak mattress, which is smaller and lighter. If you don't mind firmness, don't want to sleep just on air, and the size doesn't matter, it's worth choosing. For people who value compact size when folded and don't mind the rustling of the mattress, I recommend the MatPak more.

The mat is quite thin, but comfortable, especially during rainy days; when used together with a Mil Tec mat of 5mm thickness, it works great. I bought it intending to use it on my first winter camping trips – whether it lives up to expectations will be seen in practice, but so far it looks very promising, as does the valve, which seems more solid than in other mats in this price range.
