Flint with a ferrocerium rod allowing you to light, for example, a gas stove, a hiking stove or a campfire. One movement with the help of the spark igniter allows you to produce sparks which, falling on a previously prepared fire starter, will produce a flame even in severe frost or rain.

The handle made of beech wood makes it easy to hold the flint in your hand. The set comes with a spark igniter in the form of a serrated steel plate.

The fire starter is easy and convenient to use. I usually use a knife, so I can't rate the included metal striker, but the rod itself does its job. Lighting a fire this way has its own charm.

For 42 PLN on sale, it is acceptable, but not for more. When the tinder is dry, it works well, but in the fall it performs poorly because the shavings go out quickly. I have doubts whether the rod is made of ferrocerium or magnesium. The scraper is useful for scraping shavings, but as a fire striker it is poor.

It is large and well made. The scraper is almost useless – it's hard to achieve anything with it. A knife does a much better job, though it's still not perfect. In my opinion, fire starters from Scandinavia are better.
