The sandals are quite good – they've been tested in both rain and sun. Even when they got soaked, after drying they could still be used. The only downside is the straps coming off the sole – this happened three times in two weeks. They are snap-in, so after fixing you can wear them again. It's a bit like with a Syrena car – if something breaks, it's easy to fix and you can keep going.
