I decided to buy the jacket after positive recommendations from friends. I was not disappointed—the size fits perfectly, and the jacket itself is very lightweight. A practical asset is the ability to fold it into a compact pouch, which makes it easy to carry. Previously, I wore this jacket borrowed from a friend and it worked great—it kept me warm despite its small size. You can wear it as an outer layer or use it as additional insulation. I tested it both under and over the Patriot fleece by Helikon. All this made me decide to buy my own jacket.
The light insulated jacket offers protection against cold, wind, and light rain. It is made from a nylon shell with a rip-stop weave, which resists fabric tears. The insulation fill is Climashield Apex, effectively preventing heat loss.
Two traditional hip pockets with fleece lining keep hands warm. The chest pocket includes compartments for electronic equipment and has a cable opening. There is also an interior pocket.
Additional protection against drafts is provided by a drawstring in the collar and an internal strip covering the YKK two-way zipper.
Shoulder pockets are equipped with velcro panels (hook and loop), which allow for the attachment of various patches and emblems, such as a country flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches, enabling personalization of the jacket.
The Wolfhound jacket is incredibly lightweight, easily compressible, and storable without compromising its properties.

Woodland camouflage
Woodland, also referred to as US Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern used by the American armed forces since the early 1980s, modeled on the older ERDL camouflage. It was the standard in the American army for over two decades until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It features large, irregular patches in green, brown, beige, and black colors, providing effective concealment and silhouette breakup, especially in wooded environments. Due to its effectiveness and global recognition, it has seen many variations, finding use in over 60 military units worldwide. This pattern has significantly influenced popular culture, finding its place from military application to everyday fashion.
MILITARY is the official distributor of Helikon-Tex.

A very good jacket for spring. Of course, the material is not resistant to contact with sharp, protruding objects, but it was not designed for that. It works great for everyday use in the city or at work.
-
Jacket that could have been perfect (fit, lightness, packability, pockets, zippers, thermal properties, effectiveness of the camo pattern) but it has a huge flaw: the fabric is nothing like genuine ripstop, the slightest thorn can tear it. Too bad for an "outdoor" purpose garment, whose camo pattern (Pencott Wildwood in this case) is intended for vegetated environments (in Europe = inevitably presence of brambles and other thorny plants).

Super warm yet comparatively lightweight jacket – perfect for cold days. The insulation works reliably even when damp, and the fit is comfortable. Good workmanship and practical pockets make it my dependable outdoor companion.

Excellent jacket. I especially appreciate it since I previously bought the same one in military green, but also the version with a hood! Folded and rolled up in the small carrying bag that comes with it, it takes up no space in your luggage when traveling and offers good insulation quality while being very lightweight.

What more can I say that hasn't already been said? This jacket arrived very, very quickly after I ordered it, and it looks promising! Since my size is between M and L, I decided to play it safe and go with L. It turns out that was a wise choice if you want to wear it over a sweater or sweatshirt. I haven't worn it outside yet, but indoors, I can already feel that it retains heat well and the material is very pleasant. I'm really considering getting the model with a hood as well :)

A convenient, high-quality jacket that is very light and quite suitable for the off-season. The pockets are well positioned. It comes with a compression bag, which is very convenient for storing and carrying it. A wonderful jacket, no downsides.

The jacket works great both as an insulating layer and as a standalone outerwear – it is very warm and light. I always have it with me, as this is already my third jacket from this brand. In this wz 93 version there are velcro patches on both sleeves. I definitely recommend it!

The Wolfhound without a hood is a great addition to your wardrobe for tougher weather conditions and a very good alternative to thick fleeces or softshells. The balance between weight, comfort and price is very favorable! However, in severe cold, I would choose the hooded version as a stand-alone jacket. It's best to have both versions – it's hard to find a better product in this price class. I highly recommend it!

The Wolfhound jacket without a hood is a great addition to a softshell set and an excellent alternative to heavy fleeces. The balance of insulation, weight, and packability here is at a very high level! The lack of a hood isn’t a problem when you put on an extra softshell or hardshell layer. However, if you need a jacket for winter as the main layer, I suggest choosing the hooded version. Ideally, have both – it's hard to find a better product at this price. I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic jacket, takes up little space and provides great warmth. It easily fits under a uniform sweatshirt and does not stick out. It ensures thermal comfort. Highly recommended.
-
I’ve never had such a good jacket – it insulates excellently from the cold at temperatures around -4 degrees. The very breathable material means you don't have to take it off in warm interiors.
-
The jacket is nice, but unfortunately it was too short for me. Initially, I bought size M, but it turned out to be too small, so I chose L – it was better, but in the end I went for the model with a hood, which is longer and doesn't widen the chest.
-
I wear this compact jacket on cooler days, usually keeping it packed in its pouch in my backpack while outdoors. Even though it's thin, it retains heat very well. If you choose the size correctly, you can wear a thicker layer underneath and it still doesn't restrict freedom of movement, which is very convenient when resting.

A solid jacket, I have no major reservations. Nevertheless, the size runs a little small – if you're in between sizes, it's better to choose the bigger one. The jacket material is soft, so it can be easily damaged by sharp surfaces, so it's worth keeping that in mind.
