This jacket was supposed to protect against the wind above all, but in the mountains I could feel every gust. In my opinion, it is of little use because it does not provide protection even in light rain. Unfortunately, this is the first Helikon product that has disappointed me. At this price, you can easily find something better. Its only advantage is its compact size and low weight, so it will even fit in a waist pack.

camouflage PenCott WildWood
PenCott is an advanced system of second-generation digital camouflage, developed by the British company Hyde Definition. Its characteristic feature is a multi-level pattern structure, including micro-, meso-, and macro-patterns.
PenCott WildWood is a camouflage variant designed specifically for operations in dense temperate forests, especially in environments with lush, multi-layered vegetation typical of many European regions. It is an evolution of the GreenZone concept, with a darker and more saturated color palette, better suited to shadow, moisture, and deep undergrowth conditions. The WildWood pattern is based on the distinctive PenCott structure combining micro-patterning with realistic color noise and sharp contrasts that effectively break up the silhouette at various distances. Dominant tones include deep greens, olive shades, and muted browns, providing effective concealment in varied, shadowy vegetation.

Truly fantastic! This is already the third jacket like this in our family ;-) I always have it in my backpack or clipped to my trousers during short trips. It works great in the mountains when, during the ascent or on the summit, the sun comes out and a cool wind starts blowing. This is not a rain jacket — the thin nylon does not provide warmth, it only shields against the wind, but as an emergency jacket it works brilliantly!

When I received the Windrunner anorak, I was able to test it even now, in the height of summer, in the woods. As I was sitting there, it became quite cool and windy, and the Wind Runner handled that excellently without making you sweat; instead, it was very pleasant. The fabric does not rustle very loudly; nevertheless, for hunters it may still not be ideal, but I lack the experience to judge that. Order processing and delivery happen at explosive speed, of course only if DHL does its part. I still have not found a company that processes an order faster and delivers it even more quickly!!!! I have also never had to exchange anything here because everything has always fit. I really can only recommend this company; there is truly nothing more to add!

It is lightweight and protects well against the wind. For rain, it is better to also have a poncho. I had trouble finding the pocket it can be packed into. The fit is quite snug, so it is worth choosing a larger size or wearing only a thin fleece underneath. At a feels-like temperature of around 0°C, it performs well.
-
A good and high-quality jacket made of good material. It is very lightweight and can be folded into a very small and compact package that fits into a backpack and doesn’t take up much space. I recommend it.

Great item, I also own another Termontane jacket, but I use it for outdoor tasks; this one I use for everyday wear. The jacket performs excellently – it has a loose and comfortable fit, great ventilation, and the pocket design is done at the highest level. It is initially treated for water resistance, so it even withstood light rain. I recommend buying it.

I had already bought 3 of these Windrunner jackets because I like them so much. I didn’t really need this new one, but you know the saying, 'when you love something, you don’t count,' so I let myself be tempted by the Polish panther camouflage version, which I really like. Unfortunately, the night camo version is no longer available, otherwise I would have bought that one too :)

Good and lightweight jacket. It can be easily folded to a smaller size and does not take up much space when folded. Provides good protection against wind and light rain. I highly recommend it.

The jacket was tested during mountain hikes in the rain – it protects very well against the wind, when it comes to rain it's a bit worse. Overall, it provides good thermal comfort. Very lightweight, practically unnoticeable on the body, size L fits perfectly for a height of 183 cm.
-
Very good jacket. Although it is light and at first glance may raise doubts about its durability, after a year of intensive use with tactical equipment it still looks great. Perfect for summer, numerous ventilation holes provide pleasant cooling.
-
Super windbreaker, my new favorite piece. Keeps out the wind, lightweight and easily packable. At an offer price of just under €50 I can recommend it, in my opinion the RRP is too high.
-
It works great especially during windy days or as a light protection against light rain, especially when paired with a fleece or sweatshirt. A huge advantage is that the jacket can be packed into the included pouch sewn inside, so it doesn't take up much space. However, you have to be careful as it can get crumpled and then requires a moment to straighten out.
-
It does its job – it's very thin, but effectively protects against both wind and sun. It's also not bothered by light drizzle. An additional advantage is that it can be rolled up into a very small pouch. On colder days, just put a fleece or warmer layer underneath and it still works well.
-
I am very positively surprised – at first I had doubts, but after a year of use, I consider this product essential. When folded, it is very light and compact, and even without an additional cover, it hardly takes up any space. It handles light rain well, the underarm ventilation and the ability to unzip and open the pockets are great advantages. The adjustable hood is also a big plus. It works perfectly in windy weather, and combined with a sweatshirt or fleece, it works great on cooler days.

This is yet another Helikon-Tex jacket in my collection and every time I'm very satisfied. It works great during various outdoor activities, such as running or skipping rope – I put it on over a warmer layer and it protects me from the wind. I recommend choosing your standard size, so the jacket won't restrict your movements.
