Helikon-Tex Windrunner WindPack Nylon Field Jacket - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

An ultralight anorak-style windbreaker with a regular fit in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, designed for tactical operations, hiking, and everyday wear in changing weather conditions. The construction is made from densely woven WindPack Nylon with a hydrophobic DWR coating and IRR/NIR technology, providing effective protection against wind and reduced visibility under night vision. The model features an adjustable hood, a YKK half-zip zipper, mesh ventilation panels under the arms, and a self-pack system that allows the entire jacket to be packed into the dedicated inner pocket.

The outer layer is made from ultralight WindPack Nylon fabric with a grammage of 40 g/m2, distinguished by optimal breathability, quick drying, and very good protection against the chilling effect of wind. The material is coated with a hydrophobic DWR (Durable Water Repellency) coating, which limits moisture penetration into the fabric, slows soaking, and makes dirt easier to remove. The fabric has also undergone IRR/NIR treatment (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective), thanks to which it absorbs and reflects near-infrared radiation in a way similar to the natural forest environment, effectively reducing silhouette contrast in night vision devices.

The anorak construction was developed with an emphasis on reducing the number of seams and lowering weight. The ergonomic hood adjustable with a drawstring effectively protects the head from wind and light rain, while the mesh ventilation openings placed under the arms support efficient air circulation during fast-paced movement. The elbow area is protected with additional fabric reinforcements, while cuffs with sewn-in elastic and the bottom drawstring allow the jacket to be sealed precisely against drafts.

The model is equipped with practical pockets integrated into the anorak construction:

• large front pass-through pocket - zippered, allowing quick access to essential items and warming the hands,
• two inner pockets - secure compartments making it easier to carry small gear or a phone,
• inner self-pack pocket - a pocket serving as an integrated carry pouch that fits the entire folded jacket.

The closure is a short half-zip zipper from the renowned Japanese brand YKK, making it easier to put the jacket on over the head and allowing efficient regulation of airflow around the neck.

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage pattern designed and introduced for general use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimetic and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches of varying sizes. The color scheme based on green, brown, and black has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” a fitting choice for operations in local terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage pattern are also basic equipment for students of Military Uniformed Classes.
