Flecktarn, a timeless German military camouflage pattern, was officially adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990. It features a design with small, irregular spots in five colors—typically dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige. By distributing numerous dots with blurred color boundaries, Flecktarn effectively conceals the wearer's silhouette in forested areas, scrublands, or against forest undergrowth. This camouflage pattern was specifically crafted for European climatic conditions, particularly suited for the temperate zone. I used the previous two both for everyday wear to work and during trips to the mountains, and they performed excellently in all conditions.
