I have been using this mat for several years and it works great for transportation, it's easy to roll up and fold. When it comes to insulation, it protects perfectly from the ground during dry weather, blocks contact with concrete well, absorbs moisture, but dries quickly. Only the price could be a bit lower.

Basically, this mat is like any other. Is it good? It seems to be well made, and the carrying strap is a plus – you can attach it to a carabiner and carry it around comfortably all day. The size is just right, it insulates well from the ground, and that’s pretty much it. That’s its job. Would I buy it again for over 60 PLN? Hard to say. I like this brand, that’s why I chose it instead of cheaper mats for 4 PLN each. Is it worth spending that much money? If you can afford it, it won't be a waste – whether you're overpaying or not is up to you to decide.

A sit pad is an essential part of my kit for trips to the forest, and it sometimes comes in handy in the city, especially when it’s wet. I really appreciate the compactness of this Helikon mat; it takes up little space in the backpack or can be attached to a belt. Even though it's not thick, it increases comfort on hard surfaces and most importantly insulates very well, e.g., on concrete.

I've been using this mat for 5–6 years and it's excellent! Some people suggest it could be bigger or softer—I have one like that from militaria.pl, but this one fits perfectly in the side pocket of my pants. So, in short: “The best mat is the one you have with you.” It may sound funny, but if you have to do urgent work in the city, being able to sit on a dirty surface thanks to this mat is like relaxing in a home armchair, especially when the work drags on and you always have the mat tucked away in your pocket.

First impression after opening—it seems very small. However, for one person it's sufficient, plus it's lightweight and doesn't take up much backpack space. When folded, it even fits in a small backpack pocket. You can also attach it with the Molle/Pals system and have it at hand. Solidly made from cordura, it will serve for a long time of intensive use.
