Helikon-Tex UTS PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop Shorts 8.5'' - Rhodesian Camo

Modern Tactical Shorts UTS (Urban Tactical Shorts) made of high-quality PoliCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric (50% cotton, 48% polyester, 2% elastane), which has high resistance to abrasion and tearing. It is also lighter and dries faster than 100% cotton fabric.

The perfect compromise between military and civilian clothing - discreet cut, functionality of combat boots. Innovative cut, proper stitching and the fabric of the pants provide above-average freedom of movement and durability.

They are equipped with ten pockets:
- two classic at hip height with reinforced edges,
- four on the thighs (two wide ones closed with a zipper and two narrow ones with Velcro),
- four on the back (two wide and two narrow ones located inside the wide ones).

Pants, instead of a button, have a wide velcro allowing adjustment within 6 cm. The waistband has been sewn elastic band improving on the fit of the pants to the individual features of the figure. The material above the back pockets and in the crotch has been reinforced with an additional layer of VersaStretch nylon fabric.

The two front belt loops at the bottom are equipped with additional loops allowing attachment of, for example, a carabiner.

Rhodesian Camo is a timeless camouflage design formulated in the 1960s for the Rhodesian Armed Forces, now known as Zimbabwe. Engineered for combat during regional conflicts, notably the Bush War (1964-1979), it was adapted to suit the southern African landscape, characterized by arid bushland, grassy plains, and sparse vegetation. This pattern's distinct feature is its unique hand-painted look, reminiscent of brushstrokes, composed of irregular horizontal shapes in green and brown tones, set against a light green or sandy backdrop. With a trio of contrasting colors and an arrangement that echoes natural elements like leaves, branches, and grasses, this camouflage effectively obscures the silhouette's outline, making detection difficult in the densely vegetated terrain.
