I bought this jacket mainly because of the PenCott WildWood camouflage, as I really like this pattern. As for the jacket itself, this is my first time dealing with this kind of material — it’s not very thick, so I still don’t know whether it will work better as a windbreaker or a rain jacket. That will become clear in practice, for example during a mushroom-picking trip. A plus is the hood, although it’s a pity that it was hidden in the collar, but it’s still better to have it than not. It’s also good that the sleeves are the right length and not too long. The pockets are a bit unusual because the zipper is on the outside, unlike on most jackets, so when putting your hands in, you instinctively look for the zip. Maybe it’s just a matter of getting used to it; we’ll see.

What I liked most is that the jacket does not look bulky, yet in use it feels genuinely practical. The hood is comfortable, the pockets are well placed, and the zippers work smoothly. The Taiga Green color looks understated and fits outdoor clothing very well. It is not a full waterproof membrane for heavy rain, but it provides good protection from wind, light moisture, and cool weather. I am satisfied with the purchase; it is truly the kind of jacket you want to take with you often.

I am very satisfied with the jacket, it’s not cheap, but it’s wonderful and high quality. I haven’t tested it for durability in tough conditions. It’s great for protection from wind and light rain. If you stay in the rain for a long time, the shoulders mainly start to get wet, but it’s not critical. With such good breathability, it’s actually very good.

I feel like I prefer the earlier version of the jacket, although this one also has its advantages. I'm not convinced by the "flaps" over the zippers – it's an extra step to access the pockets, and I've never felt the need to cover the zippers; usually, it just took one move to open them, but now you have to look for them – it's even harder with gloves on [but maybe that's just my feeling, because I use it as an outer layer in colder temperatures]. The black version gets dirty easily – even a fingernail leaves marks. On the other hand, the pockets are excellent – the front ones fit even a large map. The small inside pocket is in an unusual place – in the previous version it was by the hand, now it's moved to the side, closer to the edge of the chest. Despite this, overall it's a very good product, I'll probably choose the green version over time, but I'm not sure if the changes in such a successful product were necessary.

Nice windproof jacket, fits perfectly on the body, you can't even tell that it has enough space to fit a fleece underneath. It doesn't let the wind through even in strong gusts. Thanks to the military store for the discount coupon after the price dropped following my purchase.

The jacket is lightweight and doesn’t weigh much. Typical for Helikon, it fits well and is solidly made. The pockets are thoughtfully designed, and zippers provide ventilation. It has slight water resistance and effectively protects against the wind. I sincerely recommend it.
