I am very satisfied. The shirt performed excellently in the mountains. Even on a steep climb, there was only a small sweat mark under the backpack. That is truly impressive.

The shirt is very light and breathable, which makes it great for trekking, cycling, or working on warmer days. The material dries quickly and wicks moisture away quite effectively, while the looser fit provides a great range of movement. The pockets and the hook-and-loop fasteners on the sleeves are also a plus — they are small additions, but they prove really practical in the field. It’s a very successful shirt for summer, although during more intense activity it may pick up the characteristic odor of synthetic materials a bit more quickly.

I bought it based on the reviews and the marketing that described this shirt as “thermoactive.” Right from the start, it felt artificial, almost plastic-like. In practice, especially in hot weather, it does not wick away sweat and provides almost no breathability at all — as if you were wearing plastic wrap. It has very little in common with real moisture-wicking performance clothing. I also do not see any advantage over cheap products at a much lower price. It’s a shame that Helikon decided to release something like this.

With a summer like this year’s, a shirt like this, which dries quickly and feels cooler than a cotton one, works perfectly and will probably become the standard.

However, over time you can get used to it and start to like this relaxed fit.
