I bought this compass intending to use it for approximate direction finding, mainly while mushroom picking, and in that role it works very well. The needle settles quickly, so after just a few seconds you know which way to go. The strap, as others have written, is not the best — it works, but it is not particularly comfortable to wear. It is also not worth keeping the compass close to a watch or attaching it to the same strap, because this can interfere with the readings. In summary, it is an interesting and practical gadget at a reasonable price.

For many years I have been a fan of the Polish manufacturer Helikon Tex. That is why I decided to buy a compass from this company as well, even though I already have several others. The compass is really great, the needle is very sensitive and does not stick even when the housing is tilted significantly. The strap can, of course, be replaced with a more solid one, but it can also be left as it is. It looks very good together with a watch in a black plastic case. I recommend it.
