I got the Helikon-Tex OTP pants (Mud Brown). The VersaStretch fabric is light, thin, and really stretches in all directions, and in the heat you don't sweat. The fabric repels water and dirt. The pockets are well designed, the cargo pockets with zippers don't stick out. I've been wearing them for the third month in shifts: the knees haven't stretched out, the seams are strong, and it's very comfortable to move. For summer, it's a top choice.

The pants seem sturdy in terms of material quality and are also carefully sewn. Unfortunately, the sizing isn't perfect. I'm 186 cm tall and weigh 72 kg, and I chose size S Long – it fits well at the waist, but the legs are too wide, especially around the thighs where there's way too much material. Despite having a slim build, I can easily fit both legs into one pant leg at calf height (39 cm). I own many items from this brand and consider them very good, but for these pants, the sizing could use some more work.

These are my favorite pants – over the last decade, I've had about five pairs (one turned into shorts after a bike fall because a hole formed under the knee, so I had to buy new ones). I have them in gray and woodland. The material holds its color and doesn't fade after washing. They're comfortable, loose, and airy for summer, and in winter you can fit even thicker long johns underneath, so you can wear them in freezing temperatures. I really like the discreet pockets with elastic straps inside the cargo pockets – thanks to them, a pocketknife, tourniquet, or flashlight stand upright and don’t move around inside like in typical BDU pants. Another plus is that the cargo pockets close with both Velcro and buttons, because Velcro alone wears out after a while. The rear pockets have an interesting cut, so nothing falls out even though there's no fastening or flaps. These are the best pants I've ever had. It's a shame this is the last series – the newer Mk2 model is much worse.

The pants look great. The fabric seems durable. I really like the coyote color in person, and in my opinion, it is different from the one in the picture because it is darker. The pant legs are quite wide and could be a bit more fitted, although that doesn't bother me. The pants are excellent and I really like them. The customer service and order processing time deserve praise. I definitely recommend them.
