Of course, once again Helikon Tex has made a very good product. It fits excellently for my height of 183 cm in size L, although the sleeves are a little too long. That is because size M would actually be even better, but then it would no longer fit well in the shoulders, since I have broader shoulders. However, the sleeves could be rolled up very well. I put 6 mm neoprene inserts into the two elbow pockets, and they fit perfectly. The shirt is very good for spring, autumn, and winter, and of course also for summer, but I would use it there only up to a maximum of 27 degrees, ideally with a cotton undershirt. Shipping is always super fast anyway!!
The uniform sweatshirt is crafted from PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric, comprising 50% polyester, 48% cotton, and 2% elastane. This fabric is highly resistant to wear and tearing, is lighter, and dries more rapidly than 100% cotton fabric. The Raid model incorporates a raglan design, with sleeves sewn directly into the collar, eliminating shoulder seams.
The sweatshirt is secured with patch-covered buttons, featuring 8 ergonomic pockets for added utility:
- two chest pockets with button closures,
- one pocket on each shoulder secured with either Velcro or a button,
- two flat open pockets positioned on the shoulder pockets,
- two internal mesh pockets, one with a zipper and one open.
The pockets include handles in the form of loops, allowing you to attach gear and prevent loss during activities. Special reinforcements are present at the elbows in the form of a double layer of material, which also serve as pockets for protective foam pads. Velcro allows for cuff width adjustment.
Velcro tapes are stitched above the chest pockets and on the pockets and shoulder flaps, enabling attachment of various emblems, such as national flags, unit emblems, or Morale Patches to give the sweatshirt a personal touch.

Camouflage Desert Night Camo
Desert Night Camo (DNC) is a specialized camouflage pattern developed by the US Army in the 1980s for night operations in desert areas. Designed to be layered over other uniforms, it was mainly used during Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. The pattern consists of a grid-like arrangement of dark green squares and crosses on an olive-green background. Its main purpose was to disrupt early generations of enemy night vision devices. While it proved moderately effective in practice at suppressing images in night vision devices, it was an innovative approach to night camouflage.

Size: S
Excellent Helikon-Tex quality, slightly stretchy material, very good cut, with a slightly tapered fit at the waist. You need to pay attention when choosing the size (it is recommended to study the size chart!!). My usual size is M, but S was the right one for me.

This is a very well-designed hoodie. The stretch ripstop works great, and the pockets on the sleeves and chest are laid out very practically. The cut is slightly tapered, so people with a larger stomach may initially feel that it is quite tight around the waist, but the elastic material adapts somewhat over time and after a few washes.

The sweatshirt is carefully sewn and the fabric seems durable and high quality. However, I have quite a problem with the fit – size L turned out to be very wide around the stomach, making the garment look a bit like a bag. The length of the sweatshirt and sleeves is fine, but the cut is definitely too loose.

This is already my third shirt from this collection, this time in the “holiday Wuzetka” version. I must admit that if it weren’t for the shoulder pockets, no one would notice that it’s not a classic dress shirt. It’s very comfortable, excellently sewn, and made from high-quality materials. It looks elegant and has a well-fitted cut. As before, I switched size L to M – with a height of 183 cm and weight of 82 kg, it fits perfectly. I definitely recommend it.

Great cut and the old-fashioned style of the uniform sweatshirt. Plus, it doesn't cost much. An excellent option for going to the shooting range. I hope for more camouflage patterns. I rate it 5/5.

Great shirt in the typically high quality of the Helikon brand. If you prefer it to fit a bit more snugly, you should order one size smaller. I usually wear everything from the brand in size L, with a height of 1.90 m and a weight of 85 kilos. However, I had to order this shirt in size M and it fits very well.
