OTS Shorts (Outdoor Tactical Shorts) - an improved version of the well-known UTS model (Urban Tactical Shorts). In comparison to UTS shorts, the OTS model is made from VersaStretch Lite material - a fabric known for its lightness and breathability. The Teflon coating on the exterior increases resistance to stains and dirt. With numerous thoughtfully arranged pockets, these shorts are perfect for urban conditions and will be reliable during outdoor activities. They represent an excellent compromise between military and civilian apparel - offering a discreet appearance along with the practicality of cargo shorts. The innovative fit, appropriate seams, and the fabric from which the shorts are made ensure exceptional freedom of movement and durability.
elastic VersaStretch Lite material
Shorts made from modern VersaStretch Lite fabric containing 93% nylon and 7% elastane. This material stands out for its low weight and excellent breathability. Thanks to added elastic fibers, the fabric stretches in all directions, providing full freedom of movement during walking, running, climbing, and working in challenging terrain.
10 practical pockets
The shorts have ten pockets:
- two classic mesh pockets at hip level with reinforced edges
- four on the thighs (two wide mesh pockets with zippers and two narrow ones with Velcro)
- four at the back (two wide mesh pockets and two narrow ones inside the wide pockets)

Instead of a button, the shorts are equipped with a wide Velcro allowing for adjustment of about 6 cm. An elastic band is sewn into the waistband, improving fit to individual body features. The fly is closed with a zipper made by the renowned Japanese company YKK. Two front belt loops at the bottom are equipped with additional loops, allowing for attachment of items like a carabiner.

The material is very pleasant, and both the cut and the length are definite advantages. As for the drawbacks, a typical Helikon pants problem appears – after fastening the belt around the tailbone area, the fabric bulges out in a strange way. In all models of pants from this brand, there is simply too much fabric in this spot.

Perfect for hiking, everyday use, workouts, cycling, or the shooting range. They're great. I also have the black and red versions, but these are my favorite. Worth the investment; besides, the gray color hides dirt better than black. They're lightweight, breathable, and dry very quickly. I honestly recommend both the shorts and the store.
