MultiCam Camouflage
MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

Review summary
Automatically prepared based on reviews
Reviews are overwhelmingly positive, praising the sturdy build, durable materials, and reliable protection from rain and dirt. Users like the many pockets and organisers for a compass, notebook, pens, and other accessories, as well as the compact design that folds down small enough for a pocket or backpack. The transparent map window makes it easy to read the map without removing it, and the extra loops allow convenient attachment to gear or wearing it around the neck. The most common drawback is the limited map area and rather tight accessory pockets, so it works better with smaller maps or custom printouts than with large standard sheets.

A very practical map case — it has plenty of pockets and organizers, takes up little space when folded, and the snap fasteners hold securely. Also a plus are the choice of colors and the attractive sale price.

I hadn’t even thought about how handy and necessary this set is. A folding knife, a compass, and a snack bar along with it, and of course a map—easy to stuff into a thigh pocket when you don’t need to baby the map. After the weekend, the map was like new. I recommend folding the map so that you don’t need to take it out, with the front side and the folded part at the back arranged so that it is also readable. This is cheaper than a map. So it’s definitely a good investment.

Compact map case in a small size; I chose this color because it was on sale. It has plenty of practical pockets for accessories such as a compass or ruler, and the map is protected by a plastic cover and closed with a zipper.

The Helikon-Tex map case is a very practical piece of gear for any trip—it holds everything needed for hikes with a map, and the waterproof case effectively protects it from getting wet. An additional advantage is that it can be worn around the neck.

I can't rate this anything other than 5 stars. This is a very well-made and practically designed map case. The most essential accessories for fermentation fit in it without any problem. Additionally, it can be folded easily and hung conveniently.

This is a very practical solution for trips off marked trails or to places where the signal is poor. It easily fits a notebook, a compass, and plenty of other useful accessories. When folded, it takes up little space in a backpack, and all navigation is finally gathered in one place. Despite initial doubts, the map remains readable even in bright sunlight.

The map case was created by someone who knows what they're doing. It's solidly made from high-quality materials. When folded, it easily fits in a cargo pocket, and when unfolded, it can easily hold a large area map at a 1:50,000 scale. I recommend this product and the Military store.

A useful gadget. Besides a map, you can keep things like radio message templates or other important information. I haven't seen anything like this from other brands.

The map holder is made of durable material and has a waterproof pocket for the map, closed with a zipper, making it usable in various weather conditions. Additional compartments make it easier to store a compass, notebook, and pencil. Its compact size and lightness allow you to carry it even in the side pocket of your pants or jacket.

The map case is solidly made and well designed, definitely worth recommending. It will fit all the essentials you need for field orientation, but if it had a MOLLE mounting system for a vest, it would get a perfect rating from me.
