Helikon-Tex Infantry Fleece - Olive Green/wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

A soft and warm fleece jacket with a zipper, designed as an insulating layer for cold days, effectively retains heat while allowing moisture and excess heat generated during physical activity to escape. The Helikon-Tex Infantry model is made of durable fleece with a grammage of 380 g/m². The looser fit allows for comfortable wearing of additional layers, such as a light sweatshirt or thermal clothing. The slightly longer back provides better protection for the lower back from the cold, while the whole garment has been designed so as not to restrict access to pockets or equipment worn on a belt.

The fleece comprises 100% quick-drying polyester with a weight of 380 g/m². Its material ensures excellent insulation and breathability, efficiently wicking away excess moisture to prevent chill. The fabric's durability and resistance to damage make the sweatshirt ideal for outdoor endeavors in challenging terrains, whether during hikes or tactical missions.

The fleece is equipped with four zippered pockets:

• two classic hip pockets,
• one chest pocket,
• one shoulder pocket (left side)

The zippers on the hip pockets are sewn in at an angle, making it easier to store and retrieve carried items. Additionally, each zipper is finished with a fabric strap, allowing for easier grip even when wearing thick gloves.

Fleece on the elbows and shoulders, protective strips on the hip pockets, and the lower interior section have been reinforced with abrasion-resistant fabric. Velcro straps have replaced the elastic cuffs, allowing for adjustment of sleeve circumference. The high collar shields the neck from cold and wind, enhancing body temperature management. Material reinforcement at the back of the collar ensures it does not wear against the weapon sling.

Velcro strips have been sewn onto both sides of the chest and on both sleeves, allowing the attachment of various emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches, giving the fleece a personalized touch.

Helikon-Tex PL Woodland camouflage is the name given by the manufacturer to a camouflage that is a close equivalent of wz. 93 “Panther”, in force in the Polish Armed Forces. Superimposed on a gray-green background, irregular patches of black, brown and green provide good camouflage in the open and wooded areas of Poland and other Central European countries.
