Great jacket with a distinct military appearance. It works very well during skirmishes, worn under a vest. The collar, which hides the hood, is relatively high and thick. The garment is not insulated, it is just a Softshell. As for the Pencott Wildwood camouflage – it’s worth noting that on Softshell jackets, it appears noticeably lighter than on standard Helikon brand clothing.

Helikon-Tex Blizzard StormStretch Jacket - Navy Blue
Softshell jacket made of lightweight, flexible StormStretch material offering both high breathability and durability, as well as resistance to damage. The outer layer of the jacket is coated with a DWR layer, which protects against dirt and light rain. The elongated fit and ability to adjust key elements allow the jacket to fit optimally to the silhouette, while also enabling the use of additional clothing layers, such as thermal layers or fleece.
flexible StormStretch material, DWR coating
The jacket is made from StormStretch material, a blend of nylon and elastane. Due to its high resistance to abrasions and mechanical damage, the material remains flexible, which is essential for dynamic movement in the field. The fabric structure allows for effective heat and moisture management, increasing comfort during intense physical activities. The outer surface of the jacket is covered with a hydrophobic DWR layer, which limits moisture absorption and makes cleaning easy.
Four functional pockets
The jacket features four practical pockets:
- Two chest pockets with zippers and internal organizers
- Two shoulder pockets
Adjustable sleeves, YKK zippers, Velcro tabs, ventilation system
The sleeves are reinforced from the wrist to the elbow with a durable material. Elastic cuffs with velcro tabs allow for fit adjustment, regardless of wrist thickness, glove use, or watch wearing. Velcro panels are sewn onto both shoulders, allowing for the attachment of selected patches or emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or Morale Patches, giving the jacket a unique character. The hood can be tucked into the collar. The zippers are made by the renowned Japanese company YKK.
The jacket is equipped with ventilation panels under the arms, aiding in air circulation during walking, climbing, or other demanding activities.

Very usefull piece of garderobe. Light and if packed, small (using 2L compresion bag), but provides sufficient protection against wind (and its chill), and also rain (even for medium heavy rain). EDC suitable.

A nice jacket with a hood and a visor. It is suitable for cooler, but not very cold days, or for cycling in about 10-15 degrees Celsius. It's good that the chest pockets and separate openings under the armpits can serve as additional ventilation. All in all, a good windbreaker for the transitional season.

Quality is great. Tested Pencott wildwood. However, no NIR MWIR colors were used. That means this jacket glows bright white at night under night vision.

Fits great, is stretchy and extremely comfortable. Looks fantastic paired with the blue Treadstone jeans. Highly recommend, especially since I managed to grab it at the Winter Sale for 50% off! ;-)
-
Looks great and is well made as are all of the Helikon products I've bought. I found the sizing a bit out compared to the Woodsman Anorak, this seemed to come larger. My mistake but I was looking for something more waterproof, this is really a light jacket.
-
The jacket fulfills its purpose, it's very light and comfortable. My only small reservation is about the collar with the hidden hood, which, when fully fastened, slightly presses against my neck, but overall I'm very satisfied.

The softshell jacket is extremely comfortable and provides warmth. The material feels pleasant to the touch, and the zipper works smoothly. The jacket stands out for its meticulous workmanship, comes in nice colors, and its price is affordable. Another plus is that it's a product of a Polish company, which supports the local economy.

I already have three colors and will probably decide on more because I am very satisfied. The product fits perfectly and maintains temperature excellently. I highly recommend it – you can choose a set both for trips and everyday use. 😁

Great product, I have it in three different colors. However, I noticed that with this jacket, it's better to choose a size larger than usual, as I wear it as an additional layer. The 2XL fleece works for me, but the jacket in 3XL gives me enough room and isn't too tight. This solution is more practical, especially when I want to wear something under the fleece and the jacket—then the whole thing looks natural and I don't look like a stuffed bear. I highly recommend the product – it's well-made, serves its purpose, and is very lightweight.

It’s worth noting that the product is well made. If you intend to wear it over something else, I suggest choosing a size bigger than your usual. I personally went for the largest available, and it fits just how I like – there’s a bit of room, it doesn’t sit tight. I wore it over a long-sleeve sweatshirt – at temperatures above freezing it was perfect, and during activity, it was entirely sufficient. If you stand still for a long time, your experience may vary. The hood is hidden and adjustable – which is just fine for me. The sleeve pockets are zippered and have Velcro for morale patches, which is an interesting feature. There are large chest pockets with double zippers, and inside there are extra compartments. It makes a great set with the pants. I’m 185 cm tall, have a 136/138 cm chest, and weigh about 118 kg (weight is going down). The Helikon Patriot fleece fits me comfortably in size XXL. I recommend it because it’s a comfortable choice for layering and offers protection from the wind.

Very nice jacket with an almost elegant cut and a well-fitted hood with visor. Good for cooler, but not very cold days, or for biking in temperatures around 10–15 degrees (depending on your preference and what you’re wearing underneath). It’s great that the chest pockets can be used for extra ventilation (separate underarm vents). The only downside is it feels tight around the neck when the hood is stowed in the collar.
-
Fantastic jacket, exactly what I was looking for: lightweight, comfortable, well-fitted, with many practical pockets. The material is light yet durable and provides great wind protection. Highly recommend.
-
A warm and solid jacket. It is very comfortable, fits the body well, and looks elegant. Very functional, especially for people working in various services who value thermal comfort and discretion.
