Gerber Fire Starter

Survival fire starter featuring a ferrocerium rod that produces a powerful shower of sparks with temperatures reaching 3000°C. The metal striker ensures efficient fire ignition, even under challenging conditions like rain or strong winds.

The compact design, crafted from durable plastic with a striking black-orange contrast, adheres to the IPX4 standard. The vivid orange highlights ensure the fire starter is easily spotted in a backpack or bag. A compartment containing flammable tinder made from soft cotton fibers (wadding) can be found at the rear, beneath the orange screw cap.

The set comprises an emergency whistle capable of producing a sound level of up to 100 dB. A lanyard connects all components to ensure they remain secure during both transportation and storage.
