For chopping thin or medium branches, it works fine – the length provides the necessary force. However, for cutting larger logs, it's better to buy a splitting axe. This axe might be useful in emergency situations, but as a tool for splitting wood with a diameter over 20 cm, it doesn't work at all. In my opinion, the price is way too high for its capabilities. During our last bonfire, we had a lot of problems cutting through dry pine blocks – the axe often got stuck in the wood, and even hitting along the cracks didn't help split the wood completely. The storage compartment in the handle turned out to be of poor quality – after a few uses, it became loose and fell out. In summary: as a solution for urgent needs, it will do, but not for this price. I absolutely do not recommend it for regular use.

The axe is lightweight, making it easy to carry. It splits wood into smaller pieces with no problem – it fits my needs perfectly. The storage compartment in the handle is practical, as I always have a lighter on hand. I recommend this product.
