Sleeping bag Fjord Nansen Vardo MID 900 g - right
Durable sleeping bag in Sapphire color, mummy-shaped with a contoured design that ensures comfortable body alignment and allows freedom of movement while sleeping. Constructed from robust Rip-Stop woven polyester, featuring a resilient outer shell and Eko Loft Hollowfiber insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Sleeping bag Vardo temperature ratings as per EN 13537 standard:
- T-max: 25 C - the maximum temperature at which sleeping without overheating is possible,
- T-comfort: 13 C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
- T-limit: 8 C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the entire night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -6 C - the lowest temperature at which survival is possible inside the sleeping bag. Not recommended for regular use.
Rip-Stop reinforced polyester, PoliCotton lining
The outer layer crafted from 210T Rip-Stop polyester offers excellent resistance to abrasion and tearing, preventing further damage. The interior lining made of PoliCotton merges the softness of cotton with the resilience of polyester, ensuring good ventilation and comfortable contact with the skin. The bottom of the sleeping bag features a bucket shape to enhance foot alignment and boost heat retention in that region. Inside, there's a small pocket for storing valuables and loops for securing an additional thermal liner.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling
Thermal insulation is achieved through the use of synthetic Eko Loft Hollowfiber, consisting of spiral-twisted, siliconized polyester fibers. The quilted fabric layers stabilize the filling and guarantee uniform distribution. This insulation maintains its thermal qualities even when exposed to moisture, during laundering, or under frequent use. The fill is non-allergenic and ideal for individuals sensitive to down.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper on the right side, allowing it to be opened quickly from either the top or bottom for easy access. The Anti-Bite system prevents the fabric from snagging in the zipper. An internal thermal baffle offers additional thermal protection. This model can be connected with another bag from the same series.
Integrated hood for cold protection, DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D hood significantly boosts head insulation, reducing heat loss in chilly environments. Its design also shields against wind and moisture. Featuring the DUO drawcord, it combines elastic with tape—the elastic permits arm movement without needing adjustment, while the rear tape allows for swift fit customization, especially advantageous during night operations.

Packing and carrying the sleeping bag is a breeze. Packed dimensions are 34 x 20 cm, and it has a weight of 900 g, making it a lightweight addition to your gear.

DUO
DUO drawstring in Fjord Nansen sleeping bags is a two-zone adjustment system, which allows you to adjust the hood independently with an elastic band in front and a tape with a lock in the back.
