Sleeping bag Vardo temperature ratings based on the EN 13537 standard:
- T-max: 25 C - the maximum temperature at which sleeping without overheating is feasible,
- T-comfort: 13 C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
- T-limit: 8 C - the minimum temperature for a man to sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -6 C - the lowest temperature where survival in the sleeping bag is possible. Not advised for regular use.
Rip-Stop reinforced polyester, PoliCotton lining
The outer layer crafted from 210T Rip-Stop polyester offers exceptional protection against wear and tears, minimizing potential damage. The lining inside, made of PoliCotton, melds the softness of cotton with the resilience of polyester, ensuring good ventilation and a comfortable feel against the skin. Shaped like a bucket, the bottom of the sleeping bag enhances foot alignment and retains heat more effectively in that section. Inside, a small pocket is available for valuables, along with loops to secure an additional thermal liner.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling
Eko Loft Hollowfiber, composed of spiral-twisted, siliconized polyester fibers, offers exceptional thermal insulation. The quilted fabric layers maintain the placement of the filling, ensuring uniform distribution. Even when subjected to moisture, washing, or heavy use, the insulation preserves its thermal efficiency. The filling is non-allergenic and ideal for individuals with sensitivities to down.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag includes a two-way zipper on the left side, allowing you to quickly open it from either the top or bottom for easy access. The Anti-Bite system is designed to prevent the fabric from getting caught in the zipper. An internal thermal baffle enhances heat retention. This model is compatible for joining with another bag from the same series.
Integrated hood for cold protection, DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D hood optimizes insulation around the head, reducing heat loss in frigid conditions. Its design also shields against wind and moisture. The DUO drawcord features a combination of elastic and tape—the elastic permits arm movement without needing adjustments, while the rear tape enables quick fit adjustments, particularly beneficial during nighttime operations.
Easy transport and storage
The sleeping bag is convenient to pack and transport. When compressed, its dimensions are 34 x 20 cm and it has a weight of 900 g, making it a lightweight option for any equipment setup.
