Temperature ratings and usage conditions
Svalbard sleeping bag temperature ratings follow the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: -4°C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night.
- T-limit: -11°C – the minimum temperature allowing a man to sleep through the night without discomfort.
- T-extreme: -31°C – the lowest temperature at which survival is possible, though not intended for regular use.
10D Rip-Stop nylon with Water Repellent coating
Constructed from lightweight 10D nylon, both the outer and inner layers utilize Rip-Stop technology and are treated with a hydrophobic WR coating (Water Repellent) to reduce moisture ingress. Inside, there is a small pocket for necessary items along with loops designed for securing an additional insulating liner.
Duck down filling, H-shaped construction
A combination of 92% European duck down and 8% feathers ensures thermal comfort. The 800 cuin loft delivers excellent compressibility, facilitating easier packing. A hydrophobic coating safeguards the down. H-shaped baffles prevent the filling from shifting and clumping. The shark fin-shaped footbox is designed to follow the natural anatomy of the feet, enhancing thermal comfort and lessening pressure. The bottom is sewn at a 70-degree angle.
Right -side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The two-way zipper located on the right side permits full opening from both ends, facilitating easier access and exit. A fluorescent puller enables operation in low-light conditions. Equipped with an Anti-Bite system, it prevents fabric from snagging in the zipper. The interior of the zipper is secured by a thermal flap. This model can be coupled with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated hood, DUO drawcord, thermal collar
The 3D hood effectively shields the head from heat loss and harsh weather. The Duo drawcord, which combines an elastic band with a strap, ensures quick adjustment – the elastic around the neck lets the hand extend without loosening the hood, while the rear strap allows precise adjustment. The thermal collar, shaped like a down-filled tube with a drawcord at shoulder level, prevents cold air from entering, boosting thermal insulation.

The compact design makes transport and storage easy. When packed, the sleeping bag is 36 x 19 cm and weighs merely 1070 g, ensuring it is a lightweight addition to your gear.
