Fjord Nansen Sierra III Comfort 3-Person Tent

Spacious three-person tent in the Comfort option. It features an innovative dome design with vertical walls. This type of construction allowed for the creation of a tent that provides a high level of comfort for users. The flysheet is made of polyester coated with a PU layer, offering waterproofing of 3000 mm/m2. All seams of the flysheet are laminated. The model is suitable for hiking, cycling, kayaking, and standard camping trips.

The flysheet is constructed from damage-resistant polyester with a polyurethane (PU) layer, providing waterproofing at the level of 3000 mm water column. This ensures the tent effectively shields against rain and moisture in various weather conditions. All seams of the flysheet are additionally laminated, which increases tightness and minimizes the risk of seepage during heavy rain. The floor made of abrasion-resistant polyethylene protects against contact with damp ground. The inner sleeping area made of polyester materials provides optimal ventilation and enhances comfort on warmer days.

The Sierra III Comfort model has an external frame guiding system, where the frame tunnels are located outside the flysheet. This solution allows for the initial setup of the flysheet, followed by hanging the sleeping area, which helps keep the interior dry when setting up the tent in the rain. The construction also allows for the use of just the flysheet as a light shelter during short breaks or emergency overnight stays.

The tent features an increased usable area of the sleeping space with dimensions of 215 x 165 x 110 cm. The altered dome shape and vertical walls allow for better utilization of available space, providing greater comfort during multi-day trips. It is equipped with two independent entrances and two vestibules measuring 215 x 80 cm, enabling convenient storage of backpacks, shoes, trekking gear, or camping equipment. Inside the sleeping area, there are practical pockets, hooks, and an additional hanging pocket under the ceiling, making it easier to maintain order and organize space.

The appropriate rigidity of the structure is ensured by a fiberglass frame with a diameter of 8.5 mm. The igloo design provides high durability and stability in varied terrain conditions.

Double-layer construction with a separate flysheet supports proper air circulation and reduces condensation. The sleeping area hung at an appropriate distance from the flysheet improves interior ventilation and enhances sleeping comfort on warmer days. A sewn-in mosquito net in the upper part of the entrance protects against insects without restricting airflow. Additionally, the tent is equipped with ventilation openings that help in moisture evacuation. All guy lines are made in a bright color, enhancing their visibility after dark and increasing safety around the campsite.
