Thick and comfortable self-inflating mat is designed for camping and motorcycle trips, providing a high level of comfort during outdoor sleep. It is excellent for spring, summer, and fall trips, ensuring effective insulation from cold ground. Made from durable polyester material and equipped with self-expanding foam, it combines comfort with durability. The NG version is characterized by reduced weight and compact size, achieved through special round perforations.

The Hiking NG model has a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 4.5, compliant with the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This parameter indicates the degree of ground insulation - a higher value means better heat loss reduction.

Interpretation of R-Value values used in the outdoor industry:

• 1.0-2.0 - for summer conditions (night temperatures above approximately 10 deg. C),
• 2.1-3.5 - spring-summer-fall use (approximately 0-10 deg. C),
• 3.6-5.0 - cold conditions, around 0 deg. C, and negative temperatures up to approximately -5 /-10 deg. C,
• 5.1-7.0 - winter use, temperatures below 0 deg. C,
• above 7.0 - winter conditions with increased insulation requirements.

Actual thermal comfort depends on the sleeping system (sleeping bag, clothing), the type of ground, and the user's personal resistance to cold.

The mat, 5 cm thick, guarantees high sleep comfort and effective insulation from uneven and cold ground. The outer polyester material provides good resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. Inside is self-expanding foam, which automatically draws in air after the valve is unscrewed, giving the mat the desired elasticity. The innovative construction with round perforation reduces weight and volume when packed, while maintaining insulating properties.

Unfolding the mat involves unscrewing the valve - the foam automatically expands and fills with air. If necessary, you can additionally inflate the mat 1-2 times orally and screw the valve to achieve the required firmness. During rolling, the air escapes automatically, which facilitates compression and allows for reducing the luggage size.

When packed, the mat measures 63 x 15 cm. The set also includes a repair kit.
