Temperature range and conditions of use
The Hamar sleeping bag has temperature ratings calculated according to EN 13537 standards:
- T-comfort: 4°C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep throughout the night,
- T-limit: -1°C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without any discomfort,
- T-extreme: -16°C - the lowest temperature one can survive in the sleeping bag. Not advised for regular use.
Rip-Stop reinforced polyester, PolyCotton lining
The outer layer, crafted from 210T polyester in a Rip-Stop weave, effectively guards against abrasion and mechanical damage while minimizing the likelihood of further tearing. The inner lining, constructed from PolyCotton, merges the softness of cotton with the durability of polyester, providing a comfortable feel against the skin and excellent breathability. The lower part of the sleeping bag is designed in the shape of a footbox, allowing for a better fit to the natural position of the feet. This design reduces unnecessary space and enhances heat retention in the leg area. Inside, there is a small pocket for convenient accessories and loops for attaching an additional thermal liner.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling
The Eko Loft Hollowfiber synthetic filling, crafted from spirally twisted, siliconized polyester fibers, ensures warmth retention. The quilting of the outer fabric secures the filling, promoting an even distribution across the entire sleeping bag's surface. The insulation maintains its thermal qualities even when wet, after washing, and with extensive use. The filling does not trigger allergic reactions and is ideal for those allergic to feathers.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way SBS zipper on the right side, enabling full opening from both the top and bottom, which facilitates easy entry and exit. The Anti-Bite system ensures the material doesn't snag on the zipper. Inside, a thermal strip offers protection for the zipper. This model is compatible for connection with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated hood for protection against the cold, DUO drawstring
The integrated 3D hood enhances thermal insulation by enveloping the head to minimize heat dissipation in cold conditions. Its design also offers extra defense against wind and moisture. The Duo drawstring merges rubber with tape; the rubber around the neck enables effortless hand removal without adjustments, while the tape at the back allows for quick loosening at any preferred spot, especially advantageous for nighttime activities.
Convenient transport and storage
The model is easy to transport and store. When folded, the sleeping bag measures 41 x 25 cm and weighs only 1450 g, allowing for effortless carrying without significantly adding to your luggage's weight.
