Temperatures and usage conditions
Hadsel sleeping bag temperature ratings per the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: -1°C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night.
- T-limit: -8°C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without experiencing discomfort.
- T-extreme: -25°C - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. Not recommended for regular use.
Polyester 210T Rip-Stop, polyamide lining
The external layer consists of 210T Rip-Stop polyester, offering strong protection against abrasions and other mechanical damage, and minimizing the chance of further tears. Inside, it is lined with 190T polyamide. The bottom of the sleeping bag is designed in a bowl shape to naturally fit the feet, reducing empty space and enhancing heat retention in this area. Inside, there's a small pocket for easily accessible items and loops to attach an additional warming liner.
MICROFill Super-Therm insulation
The inside of the sleeping bag contains synthetic MICROfill Super-Therm insulation, known for its lightness and softness. Due to the unique microfiber structure, this insulation offers high elasticity and outstanding thermal insulation. The fibers maintain their qualities even after numerous washes.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper on the left side, enabling it to be unzipped from either the top or bottom for easy access. A fluorescent puller simplifies zipper manipulation in low-light conditions. The Anti-Bite system reduces the likelihood of the fabric snagging the zipper. Inside, the zipper is shielded by a thermal strip. This model can connect with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated cold-protection hood, DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D hood offers excellent protection for the head, minimizing heat loss and guarding against wind and moisture. Its unique design ensures a superior fit for the user. The Duo drawcord features both an elastic and a strap—where the elastic encircling the neck allows the hand to be extended without needing adjustment, and the rear strap facilitates quick loosening, which is particularly advantageous during nighttime operations.
