This is an effective waterproofing treatment, although the block is a bit too small, which makes it awkward to hold between your fingers. If you warm it slightly with a hairdryer and let it soften a bit, it becomes much easier to use. I tested it to waterproof a felt hat for protection from rain, and so far it’s the best method of water protection I’ve come across.

Everything generally works fine, but the price is quite high, and the 20g version is inconvenient – it's hard to hold and difficult to use up the entire product, so a lot goes to waste because it's hard to use, it's like trying to paint clothes with a crayon.
