A friend recommended it, so when I was replacing my old flashlight, I chose the Fenix model and I don't regret this decision. The flashlight is durable, powerful, holds a charge for a long time, and gives off good light. It's intuitive to use, and the flashlight itself is compact in size. I also like the option to detach the flashlight from the strap – it's very practical.

The lightweight and rugged Fenix HM50R V2.0 angle flashlight features a Cree XP-G3 LED with a maximum output of 700 lumens and a maximum range of 115 meters. The flashlight is powered by a Li-ion 16340 rechargeable battery charged via a USB-C fast charging port or interchangeably by one CR123 battery.
Included with the flashlight is a headband with a silicone grip, so the flashlight can be used as a headlamp. The strap on the flashlight's V2.0 version features perforations for improved ventilation and an applied reflective manufacturer's logo.
The Fenix HM50R V2.0 is equipped with six operating modes, four for the white LED and two for the red LED. All the flashlight's functionalities are operated by a switch located on the flashlight's body. The switch is equipped with a battery level indicator, which, when turned on, indicates the state of charge for 3 seconds. The flashlight remembers the last used brightness level and automatically activates in that mode when turned on again, and built-in protection prevents overheating in turbo mode.
An LED located on the switch indicates the level of battery charge:
- constant green light: 80%,
- flashing green light: 80-50%,
- constant blue light: 50-20%,
- flashing blue light: 20%.
The flashlight's body is made of aluminum coated with scratch- and abrasion-resistant anodization. Thanks to such construction and the use of seals, the flashlight meets the IP68 standard, and is resistant to drops from up to 2 meters. The battery is installed by unscrewing the rear cap. The cap is flat and allows the flashlight to be placed vertically.
Operating modes / light duration (white LED):

Great headlamp, especially if long battery life is not your main priority. It is very lightweight, you don't feel it on your head, it's very bright, and you can charge it via USB-C. I definitely recommend it.
-
This is the best EDC flashlight – perfect for everyday carrying in a backpack or waist bag. I recommend it to everyone because the price is reasonable and the quality is very high. The battery is also very good.

Very good flashlight. Charges quickly, lasts a long time, plus a red LED with two modes and a white LED with four modes. It's tiny, perfect for everyday EDC use. It can serve as a handheld flashlight or a headlamp. Charging via USB-C, so you don't need a separate cable. I recommend it to everyone.

A lightweight and compact flashlight, plus it uses quite a common battery, but the actual run time is different from what the manufacturer claims – you can't achieve such results. The flashlight works for 3 hours, but after just 15 minutes the light starts to get weaker. It would be good if a brightness chart was available in the description, as it is now only in the manual.

An interesting option instead of Olight batons :) For someone who has been using Olight products for years, the switch will seem unusual and takes some getting used to, but once you master it, the experience is very positive. The build quality is as good as the competition, and the red LED is a great addition for gadget fans :)

A very well-made flashlight. The big button makes it easy and convenient to operate. An additional advantage is the angled design. It's worth noting that this isn't the lightest headlamp on the market – it's not very heavy, but it's good to be aware of this before buying.

This is the best flashlight I've had. Small and pocket-sized, it can become a headlamp in a moment. I recommend it to everyone.

If you're looking for a lightweight and small headlamp with high power that you can quickly remove from the headband and use as a handheld flashlight when needed – this is the model for you. Additionally, it has a red light that can be used, for example, on a bike. The only thing I miss is a magnet, but its other advantages definitely compensate for that. I recommend it.

The best headlamp from Fenix: compact, lightweight, solid, and rain-resistant. You can easily remove it from the headband and use it as a classic flashlight. A big advantage is the red LED, which doesn't interfere with your eyes getting used to the dark. The light modes are very well chosen, I just miss a very low mode, like 1 lumen. It's a pity there is no magnet like in my other flashlights. I think it's definitely worth buying.

The best small Fenix headlamp, very powerful and I really appreciate the red LED. The only downside for me is the lack of a magnet at the back of the flashlight. I recommend it.
-
I have two flashlights from this company and I am very satisfied with both. Very comfortable headlamp with useful features. For me, it's perfect for everyday use – I give it 10/10.

Great small flashlight with impressive power – I definitely recommend it.
