Frame made of thermoplastic composite, low-profile temples
The glasses feature a frame constructed from thermoplastic composite and have low-profile temples that avoid creating pressure points. Designed to be compatible with headsets, ear protection, as well as hats and helmets, they include holes at the ends of the temples for attaching a protective strap. The wide temples offer extra side protection for the face.

Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.

ESSOPTICS is an optical technology from ESS used in ballistic glasses that provides a clear, distortion-free image across the entire field of view. The lenses are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate with a thickness of 2.4 mm. The system works with ClearZone™ FlowCoat coatings — anti-fog on the inside and increased scratch resistance on the outside. The separation of the two coatings allows their properties to be better matched to their functions. The lenses also provide 100% protection against UVA and UVB radiation.
