The main compartment is generous in space and is secured with a zippered lid. The lid can be removed and transformed into a hip bag. You can access the contents from both the top and front. Inside, there's a designated area for a water tank and organizational dividers for neatly arranging your items. The base of the backpack includes a modular weave. The model is equipped with two partially detachable side pockets, allowing for the carrying of extra equipment in between, like a cover, camera tripod, or other gear that needs convenient carrying. On the backpack's front, there are two additional pockets for quick access to essential items.
The side compression straps (two on each side) enable the adjustment of the backpack's exterior dimensions to fit the carried load. These straps are also useful for attaching extra gear, like a camping tarp, sleeping bag, or sleeping pad.
MOLLE/PALS System
The model incorporates MOLLE system straps that are only 10 mm thick, enabling the attachment of additional gear. These straps maintain full functionality of the mounting system while also reducing the backpack's weight due to reduced dimensions. This allows the backpack to be easily customized to fit the user’s specific requirements.
Carrying system, hip belt, Intex II aluminum frame
The backpack comes with adjustable, detachable shoulder straps, ensuring a perfect fit to the wearer's body. The use of 3D Air Mesh with a contoured ventilation channel enhances comfort by allowing the backpack to breathe, which is particularly beneficial during extended use or in warmer climates. Its design encourages air circulation, thereby minimizing moisture accumulation.
The INTEX II aluminum frame aids in distributing weight evenly, easing the burden on the shoulders by transferring some of the weight to the hips, which enhances stability while moving. Additional support is provided through the removable, adjustable hip belt designed with the Tri-Glide system, along with the sternum strap that secures the shoulder straps and prevents slippage. This setup improves balance and comfort during field activities, especially when engaging in dynamic movements or traversing lengthy routes. The backpack also includes a rain cover.
