The Eberlestock Mainframe serves as the core structure of the EMOD system, constructed from lightweight aluminum and robust materials. Carrying system, hip belt
The carrying system utilizes a lightweight aluminum frame to transfer weight onto the hip belt and back, easing the burden on the user's shoulders. Adjustable straps enable the harness height to be tailored to the user's torso length, enhancing ergonomics.
A wide hip belt with soft padding stabilizes the backpack and bears a significant portion of the load, boosting stability while on the move. Profiled straps with mesh covering improve comfort, especially during extended wear.
The hip belt is equipped with MOLLE system straps for attaching pouches and other gear.
Mounting system for the Mainframe
The Mainframe forms the foundation of the modular EMOD system, allowing backpacks and accessories in this series to attach directly to the structure. This connection is facilitated through YKK zippers and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles, which secure the backpack to the sides of the frame.
The system incorporates three cross compression straps with buckles to stabilize the backpack against the frame or enable its repositioning, creating extra transport space. This design helps to carry gear or heavy loads near the body's center of gravity.
MOLLE/PALS panel
A laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel runs along the entire back length of the frame, allowing for secure attachment of additional modules and pouches directly to the structure. This design facilitates easy expansion of the system with EMOD elements and standard MOLLE/PALS pouches, offering flexibility in equipment organization and setup customization for specific tasks.
