Eberlestock Mainframe is the core frame of the EMOD system, constructed from lightweight aluminum along with robust materials. It includes an adjustable carrying system and a built-in transport shelf that make transporting heavy loads easier. The frame works with Vapor 2500/5000/7500 backpacks, Batwings modules, and additional accessories, serving as the backbone of a modular backpack setup.

Carrying system, hip belt
The carrying system utilizes a lightweight aluminum frame to shift weight to the hip belt and back, reducing strain on the user's shoulders. With adjustable straps, the harness height can be tailored to one's torso length, enhancing ergonomics.
A wide hip belt with soft padding stabilizes the backpack, bearing a substantial part of the load, thus boosting stability during walking. Profiled straps lined with mesh material improve comfort, especially in prolonged use.
The hip belt is equipped with MOLLE system straps for attaching pouches and other gear.
Mounting system for the Mainframe
The Mainframe serves as the foundation for the modular EMOD system, facilitating the direct attachment of backpacks and accessories from this series to the structure. Attachments are secured with YKK zippers and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles, connecting the backpack to the frame sides.
The system employs three cross compression straps with buckles to stabilize the backpack against the frame or allow it to be repositioned, providing extra transport space. This feature assists in transporting equipment or heavy loads near the body's center of gravity.
MOLLE/PALS panel
A laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel runs the entire length of the frame's back, allowing for secure attachment of additional modules and pouches directly onto the structure. This design facilitates the seamless expansion of the system with EMOD elements and standard MOLLE/PALS pouches, ensuring flexibility in gear organization and customization for specific tasks.
