Eberlestock Mainframe serves as the base frame of the EMOD system, constructed from lightweight aluminum and robust materials. It includes an adjustable carrying system and an integrated transport shelf designed to manage heavy loads efficiently. The frame is compatible with Vapor 2500/5000/7500 backpacks, Batwings modules, and various other accessories, offering the foundation for a modular backpack setup.

Carrying system, hip belt
The transport system utilizes a lightweight aluminum frame to shift weight onto the hip belt and back, alleviating the strain on the user's shoulders. Adjustable straps enable the adjustment of the harness's height according to torso length, enhancing ergonomics.
A wide hip belt with soft padding stabilizes the pack while bearing a considerable portion of the load, improving walking stability. Profiled straps equipped with mesh material boost comfort during extended use.
The hip belt incorporates MOLLE system straps for securing pouches and additional gear.
Mounting system for the Mainframe
The Mainframe serves as the foundation of the modular EMOD system, enabling direct attachment of series backpacks and accessories to its structure. Using YKK zippers and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles, it secures the backpack to the sides of the frame.
The design incorporates three cross compression straps with buckles, ensuring the backpack remains stable against the frame or can be repositioned to create additional transport space, facilitating the transport of gear or heavy loads near the body's center of gravity.
MOLLE/PALS panel
Running the whole length of the frame's back is a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel that allows for secure attachment of extra modules and pouches directly to the structure. This feature facilitates the easy expansion of the system with EMOD elements and standard MOLLE/PALS pouches, providing flexibility in organizing gear and adjusting setups for specific missions.
