Eberlestock Mainframe serves as the foundation of the EMOD system, crafted from lightweight aluminum and rugged materials. It includes an adjustable carrying system and a built-in transport shelf to ease the transport of heavy gear. The frame is designed to work with Vapor 2500/5000/7500 backpacks, Batwings modules, and other add-ons, creating the core of a modular backpack system.

Carrying system, hip belt
The carrying system utilizes a lightweight aluminum frame to shift the weight onto the hip belt and back, easing the shoulders. Adjustable straps allow the harness to be customized to the torso length, enhancing ergonomic support.
A wide hip belt with soft padding stabilizes the backpack and supports a large portion of the load, improving stability while walking. Profiled straps with mesh lining boost comfort, particularly for extended wear.
The hip belt is equipped with MOLLE system straps to attach pouches and other gear.
Mounting system for the Mainframe
The Mainframe serves as the foundation of the modular EMOD system, facilitating the direct integration of backpacks and accessories from this series into the structure. The connection utilizes YKK zippers and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles to securely attach the backpack to the sides of the frame.
Incorporating three cross compression straps with buckles, the system ensures the backpack remains stable against the frame or can be shifted to create additional transport space. This functionality supports the carriage of equipment or heavy loads close to the body's center of gravity.
MOLLE/PALS panel
A laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel runs the full length of the frame's back, allowing the stable attachment of additional modules and pouches directly to the structure. This feature makes it easy to expand the system with EMOD elements and standard MOLLE/PALS pouches, providing flexibility in gear organization and adjusting the setup for specific tasks.
