Eberlestock Mainframe Regular Backpack Frame - Mountain
Eberlestock Mainframe serves as the foundation of the EMOD system, constructed from lightweight aluminum and resilient materials. An adjustable carrying system and an integrated transport shelf make it easier to handle heavy loads. The frame is compatible with Vapor 2500/5000/7500 backpacks, Batwings modules, and various other accessories, creating the base of a modular backpack setup.
durable construction
The design utilizes an aluminum frame that strikes a balance between being lightweight and highly durable. The rigid frame offers strong support for the carrying system and features an integrated transport shelf to facilitate the transport of heavy burdens.
The Mainframe can function as an independent transport frame or be configured with EMOD series modules, enabling the formation of sets customized to the expedition's demands—from a minimal pack to a full-scale expedition backpack.
Carrying system, hip belt
The carrying mechanism utilizes a lightweight aluminum frame that shifts the load to the hip belt and back, easing the burden on the user's shoulders. Adjustable straps offer customization of the harness height to match the torso length, thereby enhancing ergonomics.
A wide hip belt with soft padding ensures backpack stability and significantly absorbs the weight, boosting stability while on the move. Profiled straps lined with mesh material provide improved comfort during extended wear.
The hip belt is equipped with MOLLE system straps for attaching pouches and other gear.
Mounting system for the Mainframe
The Mainframe serves as the core of the modular EMOD system, enabling the direct attachment of backpacks and accessories from this series onto the structure. It connects through YKK zippers and Duraflex HD 25 mm buckles, securing the backpack to the frame's sides.
Equipped with three cross compression straps with buckles, the system ensures the backpack remains stable against the frame or can be adjusted away, providing additional transport space. This feature facilitates the carrying of equipment or heavy loads closer to the body's center of gravity.
MOLLE/PALS panel
A laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel runs along the entire back length of the frame, allowing for stable attachment of additional modules and pouches directly to the structure. This design makes it easy to expand the system with EMOD elements and standard MOLLE/PALS pouches, ensuring versatility in gear organization and adaptability for specific tasks.

Camouflage Mountain
Doppel:Ganger represents Eberlestock's exclusive camouflage line, featuring a double-image design where an abstract veil is layered over a traditional pattern reflecting the natural environment. This depth and contrast effect obscures silhouettes, concentrating the viewer's attention on a single layer, thereby enhancing the camouflage's efficiency.
The Mountain version incorporates green and brown hues, ideal for blending into lush vegetation, moist regions, and agricultural areas. It excels in the coniferous and mixed forests of Central and Northern Europe, offering an alternative to traditional forest camouflages like US Woodland, Marpat (Digital Woodland), and WASP I Z3A.

Eberlestock is an American brand founded in 1985 by Glenn Eberle, an Olympian, pilot, and avid hunter. The company began by creating a lightweight and durable shooting rest, which led to further innovations. The Just One Pack backpack proved to be a breakthrough solution, allowing for comfortable carrying of weapons on the back while maintaining full freedom of movement. The company gained recognition thanks to modular systems such as the Mainframe™ frame, whose load capacity has been tested with loads of up to almost 600 kilograms. The range also includes models developed in collaboration with outdoor organizations, such as the Team Elk Pack created in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Eberlestock is also developing its own Doppel:Ganger® camouflage line, which includes Mountain, Skye, and Mirage variants, based on dual-image technology that increases camouflage effectiveness. Currently, Eberlestock, based in Boise, Idaho, is recognized as one of the leaders in designing equipment for hunters, tactical operators, and outdoor enthusiasts.
