Durabo Alpha Uniform sweatshirt - MultiCam

This uniform sweatshirt is crafted from resilient NYCO fabric, a blend of Cordura and cotton that resists tearing and abrasions. Its design ensures unrestricted movement, allowing for complete freedom during activities. Furthermore, the material minimizes detection by IRR (night vision) residual light amplifiers.

A high collar featuring an additional Velcro closure offers protection for the neck against cold and wind. The sweatshirt is equipped with a YKK zipper secured under a flap. Two shoulder pockets and two chest-level pockets are sealed with YKK zippers. The shoulder pockets include Velcro panels, facilitating the attachment of various emblems, such as national flags, unit insignia, or Morale Patches.

The cuffs are affixed with Velcro, allowing for adjustment and precise fitting to the wearer's wrists. Elbow area hems serve as extra reinforcement against wear and permit the insertion of soft protective inserts.

MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern designed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The objective was to develop a versatile camouflage pattern effective across diverse terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern features seven colors, blending shades of green, brown, and beige in smooth transitions. Consequently, it adjusts to its surroundings, adopting green hues in forested regions or browns and beiges in desert settings—performing exceptionally well in autumn and among dry foliage in Central and Eastern Europe. Recognized globally, it is utilized by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted the camouflage for troops in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also accessible to civilians, becoming a favored option among military aficionados and airsoft players.
