Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is a cutting-edge camouflage pattern that was developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. The aim was to design a flexible camouflage pattern that would perform effectively across diverse terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern incorporates seven colors, creating gradient transitions among shades of green, brown, and beige. Consequently, it allows for dynamic adaptation to the surroundings, blending into greener hues in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert landscapes—performing exceptionally well in Central and Eastern European regions during autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has achieved global recognition and is utilized by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, it was officially adopted by the US Army as the standard camouflage pattern for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Additionally, the pattern is available to civilians, making it a favored choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.
