The MultiCam Tropic camouflage pouch is designed to carry two magazines for rifles based on the AR-15 platform. The two-compartment design ensures quick and convenient access to the contents. It is made from durable 500d cordura laminate and 210d nylon, which translates into high resistance to mechanical damage.

Durable cordura and nylon construction, flap with buckle

The pouch is made from 500d cordura laminate and 210d nylon. Protection against accidental fallout is provided by a properly shaped flap with a buckle. The retention force can be easily adjusted with a shockcord drawstring, adapting it to the type of magazine and individual preferences, which allows for safe carrying of equipment in all conditions.

Mounting system

The mounting system based on two straps allows the pouch to be securely attached to a tactical vest, backpack, and other pieces of accouterment compatible with the MOLLE/PALS standard. Two paracord loops are also sewn onto the sides, allowing it to be threaded onto a belt up to 45 mm wide.

    The pouch serves its function as expected, and the buckle instead of Velcro allows for discreet opening. The color typical for Direct Action is standard and comparable to other brands. The product does not reflect light in night vision, so it is suitable for soldiers.

    The pouch is solidly made and has a well-thought-out design, but in my opinion, it could still be improved. I would suggest adding a removable divider between magazines and a Velcro closure. When you need to quickly pull out a magazine without closing the flap, there's a high chance of the second one falling out. Alternatively, a wider elastic strap for securing or the option to use shock cord would be helpful. The price is high, and although the product is good, I don't consider it perfect.
