Direct Action Spitfire QR Plate Carrier Tactical Vest - Black
Tactical Plate Carrier vest in Black, made from durable 500D Cordura and softshell. The optimized design provides full freedom of movement, while the modular layout allows you to easily adapt it to your individual needs. The QR variant is equipped with Duraflex Quick Release Buckles on both the shoulders and cummerbund, enabling rapid removal in emergencies and providing comfortable donning and doffing. The front and rear panels are designed to take ballistic inserts compatible with the SAPI/ESAPI standard.
Durable 500D Cordura
The Spitfire Plate Carrier QR is made from laser-cut laminate, abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura, and softshell. The vest gives you complete freedom of movement, while its modular construction offers extensive customization to fit user requirements. Using laser-cutting instead of classic MOLLE webbing reduces weight and limits moisture absorption.
Rugged construction, hypalon handles
Strong and flexible hypalon handles provide effective and quick adjustments. When combined with the Quick Release system, these handles also allow for instant medical access during rescue operations, and deliver high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and extreme temperatures. Thanks to thoughtful design, cable management and secure routing are possible both around the plate pockets and the cummerbund. The front flap can be attached directly to the vest body or via Chest Rig-type buckles (compatible with Mayflower/Velocity, HSP, and other systems); the vest can also be used without the front flap. The removable cummerbund comes with slots for side plates. The rear panel is adapted for the Crye Precision AVS system through zippers. An additional feature is the reinforced drag handle.
Laser-cut system, velcro panel
The vest’s surface features Laser-Cut slots, compatible with MOLLE accessories, allowing any gear configuration—from pouches to pockets to utility bags. There’s a zippered chest pocket with a Velcro panel (loop) for attaching your choice of patches or emblems.
Duraflex Quick Release buckles, low-profile design
The QR (Quick Release) version stands out for its integrated quick-release system using Duraflex buckles, which enable the vest to be removed instantly with one move in emergencies. These buckles are located on the shoulders and at the cummerbund, and feature robust strap handles to make operation easy even while wearing gloves. The low-profile design ensures comfort even during use in confined spaces.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
Duraflex is a type of high-quality buckles, fasteners, snaps and accessories made from durable materials such as polyamide, acetal, as well as metals and metal alloys. They are resistant to weather conditions, UV radiation and mechanical damage. Duraflex products are used for fastening, connecting and adjustment in backpacks, bags, clothing and military equipment.
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.
Quick Release buckles are a type of fastener that allows the user to open and close quickly, often with one hand. Used in belts, backpacks or tactical accessories where quick release can be crucial.
