Interchangeable side panels for a tactical vest, made of durable laminated nylon. They replace the standard rear section, allowing the Plate Carrier vest to be converted into a lighter Chest Rig-style vest while retaining ballistic protection at the front.
Quick and easy installation is ensured by wide velcro fasteners mounted on the front of the vest and buckles on the shoulder straps attached to the shoulder webbing. Proper fit is ensured by two adjustable straps with fastening buckles. The carry handle located at the top makes it easier to carry the vest or an injured person.
Laser-cut openings on the side panels are compatible with the MOLLE system, allowing additional pouches, utility pouches, or other elements of accouterment to be attached.
The panel is compatible with the Spitfire and Spitfire II vest models as well as the Hellcat Plate Carrier from Direct Action.
